Product update: Collection Templates

One of our most-requested features is now live: Collection Templates.

Instead of settling for the default Shopify layout, you can now design custom collection pages that match your brand and drive conversions.

With Collection Templates, you can:

• Start with a pre-built template or create your own from scratch.

• Add filters, product cards, overlays, and more.

• Use repeaters to automatically show the right products.

• Assign templates to individual collections or set one as your store default.

• Mobile-friendly by default, with overlay-based filters for smaller screens.

Product update: Fixed Grid

Introducing Fixed Grid, a new layout feature that makes building beautiful, responsive pages even easier. Unlike fluid grids, Fixed Grid gives you more control over how many columns appear in a row, and how they behave on different viewports.

With Fixed Grid, you can:

• Drag and drop columns, then resize directly on the canvas.

• Control how many columns fit in each row, adjustable per device size.

• Add any type of content (videos, products, text) inside each column.

• Make responsive tweaks with just a few clicks.

Introducing: Template Marketplace

We launched the brand-new Template Marketplace, your shortcut to a fully built Shopify storefront using Instant.

Each template in the marketplace is fully customizable and includes everything from homepages and landing pages to collection layouts. You can preview the full design and publish it instantly to your store.

Plus, we’re opening up our Template Marketplace to creators. If you submit a template and it gets approved, you’ll earn a 50% kickback for every paid user who starts using Instant with your template.
