Brand guidelines

Instant is one word with a capital I. In running text it’s always “Instant”, never “INSTANT” or “instant”. The lowercase wordmark is artwork, not a spelling. Don’t add suffixes like “Instant app” or “Instant builder”, and don’t confuse the two names: Instant is the product, Instant Commerce is the company that builds it. Named parts of the product keep their own capitalization, like Content Studio and Instant Academy.

The wordmark is the primary mark. Use it wherever there’s room: site footers, partner pages, presentations, case studies. It comes in Instant Black for light backgrounds and Instant White for dark ones. Nothing else.

Every letter sits on a shared baseline and the logomark is drawn to the x-height, so the whole mark reads as one shape. That balance is easy to break, which is why we ask you to use the supplied files instead of rebuilding it.

When space is tight, the logomark stands in for the full wordmark: favicons, social avatars, partner logo grids, app listings. The first time Instant appears somewhere, pair it with the wordmark so people know who it belongs to.

The app icon is the logomark on an Instant Cyan gradient. Use it wherever a square tile is expected, like the Shopify App Store, social profiles, and integration directories. It’s the one place the brand color carries the mark, so don’t recolor it or drop it into another shape.

Instant is black and white first. Cyan is the accent, reserved for the app icon, primary buttons, and the occasional highlight. Click a swatch to copy its hex value.

Use the files from this page as they are. Keep clear space around the mark of at least the logomark’s height, stick to black or white on photos and colored backgrounds, and don’t retype, recolor, stretch, or add effects to it.
