Product update: Grid is out of Beta

With Grid, the new way of building stores has officially entered the Shopify ecosystem! If you've been dreaming of designing for Shopify with the same smooth experience that you get in your favorite design tool, Grid is for you. 

After just two weeks in Beta, with exponential growth and continuous improvements, Grid, a true freeform visual canvas, is now ready for everyone. The biggest change is the new “Fit” feature.

Now, the row size in a Grid is set to “fit” automatically. This makes the rows adjust based on the content, so nothing overlaps when the screen size changes.

This means you only need to design for desktop and mobile, and the rest will mostly take care of itself! Building on the Grid is more intuitive, giving you a true "what you see is what you get" experience.

Product update: New Dynamic Product Fields

Product fields in Instant just became more dynamic! Here's what we’ve added:

• Product Description with Formatting: Product descriptions can now include things like lists, links, and other styles you've added in the Shopify product description

• Variant Metafields: Product variant details that change automatically when you pick a different product variant.

• Option 1/2/3 Values: Display the choices shoppers make, like the color or size they selected.

• Variant SKU: Showcase the code for the specific product version.

Product update: Insert panel

Templates are now easier to use (and more accessible)! Here's what's new:

• You can access templates directly from the Insert Panel without extra clicks.

• The Insert panel now shows popular sections, search functionality, and helpful tutorials—all in one place.

• You no longer need to open the full Template Library for these features.
