You can now add a lightbox effect to your Instant images.

This lets shoppers click your product images to view them in a larger, distraction-free modal; perfect for showcasing details, textures, or variants without cluttering the page.

Give shoppers a better look at what they're buying in just a few clicks.

Product update: Platform week

Last week, we ran another Platform week! During this week, we focus on fixing bugs, smoothing edges, and making Instant feel better to use every day.

Here's what we worked on:

• Cleaned up redundant information in exported code to keep outputs tidy and consistent.

• Fixed an issue where certain characters could break selling plan setups.

• Ensured preview images now display with the correct fonts.

• Fixed a problem where removing a responsive “fill” setting didn’t work as expected.

• Improved style overrides so font weight is applied correctly across designs.

• Empty code blocks can now be duplicated without causing errors.

• Repeater counts in the layer panel now reset properly after deleting a repeater.

• Fixed collection placeholders jumping unexpectedly to products.

• Prevented product pages from getting stuck with no selectable preview product.

• Dragging elements inside components now places them exactly where intended.

• New product variants are now auto-selected correctly when using selling plan interactions.

• Fixed false “No color patterns found” alerts on the canvas.

• Prevented fluid grid layouts from being nested into incompatible containers.

• Drag-and-drop actions now prioritize layering (z-index) for more intuitive placement.

• Add-to-cart actions now correctly include hidden product properties.

• Fixed rare cases where components disappeared on the canvas but still showed in the layer panel.

• Stopped elements from being dropped into scrollable areas that aren’t currently visible.

• Prevented dropping items into hidden gallery overflow sections.
